LM THERAPY
Life can feel like a lot sometimes. Finding balance isn’t easy, especially when you’re in a season of figuring out what’s next. Our practice was created for people in that in-between space: the students searching for direction, the professionals trying to manage stress without burning out, and the parents doing their best to hold it all together.
We help people navigate anxiety, grief, fear, and life transitions- the messy, overwhelming seasons that can feel like a dumpster fire. You don’t have to stay stuck there.
Our approach is grounded in research-based therapies, but our style is anything but clinical. You don’t have to filter yourself or worry about oversharing. We believe therapy should feel like a conversation with someone who truly gets it and listens without judgment to help you move toward the kind of life you actually want to live.
With telehealth services, we’ll work together to make sure therapy fits your life, not the other way around.
Welcome! We’re so glad you’re here!
Who we are
Leigh Muths, MA, LPC-Supervisor
Hello! I’m Leigh. I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor and Supervisor in Texas, and for over a decade I’ve walked alongside teens and adults, as they navigate change, challenge, and growth. I’m also a wife, mom of two, and a former dance instructor, and I love bringing that same sense of creativity, balance, and real-life understanding into therapy.
I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Houston-Clear Lake. Early in my journey I worked in a range of settings from rehabs to hospitals to clinics. Over time, I’ve drawn deeper into approaches that blend the practical and the hopeful: ACT, CBT, and EMDR. I’m EMDR-trained through an EMDRIA-approved program and enjoy weaving it into my work when trauma or stuckness is part of someone’s story.
What I care about most is helping people live in the messy middle of life- not by erasing hardship, but by building skills that let you move toward values you care about in spite of pain or uncertainty. I tend to be collaborative, curious, and grounded. My areas of focus include anxiety, depression, grief, chronic illnesses, trauma, and life transitions.
Working with newer therapists is another passion of mine. As an LPC-Supervisor, I aim to mentor in a way that is practical, relational, and rooted in evidence-based methods. In our supervision groups, you’ll often find us doing ACT exercises, mindfulness practices, and real-world problem-solving together.
Kristin Wellmeyer Bohlmann, M.Ed., LPC-Associate
Supervised by Leigh Muths, MA LPC-S
Hi there - I’m Kristin. I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor-Associate in Texas, a former middle school teacher of gifted kids, and a parent to two teenagers. I believe you are the expert in your life. My role is to listen, ask thoughtful questions, and help you discover options you might not have seen.
I earned my Master’s in Counseling & Development from Lamar University, and since then I’ve focused on creating spaces where people feel seen and understood. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, depression, life changes, or just wanting more purpose and peace, my hope is that I can help you take steps forward.
In sessions, I draw from Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT). What that means in everyday life is: we’ll work together on small, tangible shifts- the thoughts, behaviors, beliefs that hold you back- in a way that’s compassionate and grounded, not overwhelming. My goal is to help you build resilience, insight, and skills that feel meaningful in your life!
